Our Story

Why we started Upturnist

Upturnist was founded in 2023 by a small group of engineers and operators who kept running into the same problem: growing businesses were stuck between messy spreadsheets and generic software that never quite fit how they worked.

So instead of building one giant do-everything platform, we started with a single, focused product — EasyFab ERP — built specifically around how fabrication and manufacturing businesses actually track jobs and costs. As we listened to more operators, the pattern repeated in other industries, which led us to build Rento for equipment rental businesses and SalesERP for sales and order management.

We're still a small team — which means every customer conversation directly shapes the product roadmap.

Our Journey

From first product to full suite

2023

Upturnist is founded

Started in Dubai with a small team and a single goal: build ERP software that actually fits how operational businesses work.

2024

EasyFab ERP launches

Our first product ships, built specifically for fabrication and manufacturing job costing and production tracking.

2025

Rento & SalesERP join the suite

We expand into equipment rental management and sales/order operations, based directly on customer requests.

2026

Investing in depth, not just breadth

Rather than chase every feature, we keep refining our three products around the workflows that matter most to our customers.

Our Approach

How we think about building software

1

Build with operators, not just for them

Every feature starts from a real conversation with someone doing the job — not a feature list copied from a competitor.

2

Focused products over bloated suites

We'd rather do three things very well than twenty things adequately. Each product has a clear, specific job.

3

Cloud-first, secure by design

Every product is built cloud-native from day one — accessible anywhere, backed up automatically, and secured by default.

What Drives Us

Our values

S

Simplicity

If it needs a training manual to understand, we haven't finished building it yet.

R

Reliability

Operational software has to work every single day — we build and test with that in mind.

T

Transparency

Straightforward pricing, honest timelines, and no locking customers into features they don't need.

C

Customer Obsession

As a small team, every customer's feedback has a direct line to what we build next.
